  2. Malaysia is relying increasingly on a human resource based economy. Therefore there is a growing emphasis on understanding and maximizing the potential of our population.
  3. The government through the Ministry of Education, Social Welfare and Health have all stated that psychologists and counselors will play an increasingly important role in nation building.
  4. The number of corporate companies employing psychologists is increasing.
  5. Estimated 1090 psychology graduates in Malaysia with the population of 24 million ¨C Ratio 1: 22000 ( Ideal ratio 1:500 )
