during the Research ColloquiumThis in-house research conference is held twice a year in March and November. This event provides psychology students the opportunity to present their research in the form of a poster display or a conference presentation to their peers and faculty staff. This exposure is invaluable for students planning to pursue postgraduate research and reflects our commitment to training students in how to design, implement, analyse and report research in psychology.
Psychology Movie Festival

This event is held three times a year, in February, June and October. For one weekend, students have the opportunity to screen up to 8 movies that are related to psychology. Students will then be required to write reviews that demonstrate their ability to apply what they have learnt in their lectures to the movies they have watched.
In-House Seminar

presents the keynote address at the 2004 Research ColloquiumStudents are exposed to the various areas in psychology through the In-House Seminars. These seminars are conducted on a weekly basis and are presented by visiting lecturers, professors and speakers from different areas of expertise.

The HELP Sports Carnival

This interdepartmental competition allows psychology students to compete with their university mates from the other faculties for overall supremacy in a variety of sports including football, futsal, basketball, swimming, tennis, table tennis and badminton.
Annual Psychology Camp
The "Have You Seen My Childhood?" Camp This fun camp helps students explore their inner child and regain the simple joys in life.
The "Life is Beautiful" Camp
This camp is ideal for students who are stressed and disillusioned about life. Through sessions, games, activities and discussions, students learn to fall in love with life again.
The Facilitators CampFor future trainers, counsellors, social workers, and teachers, this camp challenges you to make learning fun and to empower others.
