The year 2008 has been very eventful, with the worsening economic situation and the increasing political uncertainty, which have created additional hurdles and bureaucratic red tape in the implementation of student activities. This is especially with regards to obtaining external funding as well as in garnering internal participation. The council has made it through thus far, with everyone’s hard effort poured to the communal cause.

Department coordinators, DESCO advisors and the Head of Department did not fall short on giving critical advice, ample encouragement and sometimes a helping hand. DESCO is financially stable at the moment and has overcome all human resource related problems thus far, and will continue to strive towards accomplishing the goals we have set in the next four months.

Business, Accounting and Economics (BAE) Club

The Accounting Club (Department of Management & Economics) was established in November 1998.
