The Department of Management & Economics is a progressive and responsive department at HELP University College. It has a distinguished tradition of 21 years, and a clear vision of the future. It is a vision of high quality teaching, linked to the needs of students and future professionals. It is a vision of rigorous standards and excellent results, allowing all who can benefit from advanced studies to achieve their best. HELP continues to work closely with its core British partners, namely University of London and University of East London, who have years of experience in economics, management, accounting & finance and business education and training.
Although the department’s student numbers have expanded over the last few years and have now reached about 1000, it still maintains a personal and friendly ambience. All students are strongly encouraged to interact openly and actively with lecturers, administrative staff and fellow course mates. After all, knowledge can be gained more effectively through sharing and constructive criticism. The department takes its teaching responsibility very seriously and offers a rich, modern and stimulating academic environment. It also strives to be a caring one and to provide whatever supports its students’ need during their time of study.
At the Department of Management & Economics, we take interest in cultivating both academic and leadership capabilities. Hence, apart from academic pursuits, students in the department are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities, which will enable them to gain insight into planning and organisational issues.
We take this opportunity to welcome all students ‘on board’ the honour degree programmes delivered in the Department of Management & Economics. Let us be ‘partners’ in this journey towards the attainment of your chosen degree. We hope you will have a pleasant journey with us.
