PROGRAM DETAILS

• Subjects carry 3 - 5 credit hours
• 3 - 6 subjects to be completed in 1 semester
• 16 weeks semester (Jan & May); 9 weeks semester (Oct); 3 semesters a year.
• 3 - 5 hours of teaching per subject per week

Actuaries can work in a number of areas such as Insurance, Consultancies, Bank Negara (which is a regulatory body for all financial institutions) and also various departments under the Ministry of Finance like the government pension schemes. ASSESSMENT
(continuous assessment based on a combination of the following)

• Class participation, quizzes, tests, assignments, projects & presentations
• Final semester written examination
