Centre For Fraud Management

The Centre for Fraud Management was established in 2006, based on a visionary idea of HELP’s President and Co-Founder, Datuk Dr Paul Chan. This centre is an initiative of HELP University College to provide practical training and education for field professionals in the areas of fraud management.

 

Encik Akhbar Haji Satar is another important figure to the establishment and management of this prestigious Centre for Fraud Management. En. Akhbar is currently the Director and Chief Trainer of this centre. He has more than 25 years of investigative experience.  Previously, En. Akhbar had served a in number of senior positions at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA), such as the Director of Training and served as director in various states. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Forensic Polygraph Examiner.

 

The training courses and workshops available through our centre are specifically designed and developed to ensure that quality training is available to industry professionals. The centre also provides tailor made courses and workshops to serve the needs of individual agencies and clients. This centre also assists in promoting the Malaysian Chapter for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). ACFE is an anti-fraud association with nearly 45,000 members worldwide, with the World HQ in Texas, USA. ACFE provides anti-fraud trainings and education with the aim to reduce business fraud incidents.
