Exeter has a long-established medium-sized LawSchool where about 120 undergraduates are admitted per year. It is the law faculty’s aim to produce well-rounded graduates with good critical faculties, able to think like lawyers, and with all the necessary skills and knowledge that emerging lawyers should have. The law school has a particular reputation in the law of the European Union, being one of the first few to teach this area which is further embellished by the fact that there is Centre for European Legal Studies established within the Faculty of Law. Another area of specialisation is commercial law. The law school also has a reputation for its Legal Practice Course. The School constantly strives to create an ethos of scholarship in teaching Law undergraduates and postgraduates alike. Currently the general requirements are: (as at January 2010)
