BristolLawSchool is composed of two departments, the Department of Law and Bristol Institute of Legal Practice, known as BILP. The Department of Law is a dynamic department with an able and diverse student body of undergraduate students reading for the LLB/Joint Honours and postgraduates pursing research degrees (PhD/MPhil), and the LL.M. (Master of Laws). Our student body is drawn from the four corners of the globe, a reflection of our international outlook and growing reputation as a centre for excellence in legal education. Currently the general requirement are: (as at January 2010)

ENTRY INTO YEAR 2 OR 3

• Students would have had to pass all subjects for Year 1 at HELP, for entry into Year 2.

• Students would have had to pass all subjects for Years 1 & 2 at HELP, for entry into Year 3.
