The Bachelor of Science (Hons) Electronic Games and Interactive Media offered by HELP University College is a three-year course that prepares students for a career in the digital media industries and electronic games-related areas.

The program emphasizes in the technical aspects of video games in mobile, PC, consoles and hand-held. Students will discover how to use practical skills creatively and intelligently with grounding in relevant theory from the fields of media and cultural studies.

Students have opportunities to unleash their creative talents with hands-on training in industry-standard software development. They should be able to realize their interactive multimedia design or 2D/3D computer game design and to be able to integrate in the teamwork in multimedia or game industries. They should also have a sound knowledge base to continue their future studies and researches in related domains. The graduates are multi-skilled people with a working knowledge of both IT and human- centered design. Graduates will have skills to redesign how people interact with computers and computational devices.

Graduates may find employment in varied specializations of the video games and interactive media industry in roles as a games programmer with job functions in tool, engine, graphics, networking, AI or audio programmer.
