The Department of American Degree Program was established in 1992. It has gone through many stages of development with the primary aim of transferring credits of students who have completed their sophomore (second) year courses to the junior (third) and senior (fourth) years in the United States. The department is also affiliated with selected universities from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The hallmark of the American Degree Transfer Program at HELP University is to provide high quality academic preparations and opportunities at all post-secondary levels. It is modeled on the program followed by students in American universities in the first two years of their undergraduate studies. The Department consists of a dedicated team of lecturers and administrators to assist students in achieving their objectives – commitment to holistic education, and academic and student welfare enhancement. Hence, a student who ultimately becomes an engineer will have exposure to philosophy, anthropology, history etc, while a student who earns a degree in marketing or communications will have had exposure to the disciplines of science and mathematics, the social sciences and humanities. The Department of American Degree Program and HELP University constantly strive to continue its long tradition of service to the community. Its unusual strengths in the creative and performing arts provide wide-ranging educational, entertainment and cultural opportunities for its students, faculty, staff and the public at large. The local international community further recognizes its programs of public services and its involvement in civic and social development.
