 | "If anyone were to ask me If anyone were to ask me "Which would be your most favourite period in your life as a student?", I will be ever-ready to affirm that the one year in HMC being the best part of my academic life. One thing I really like about HELP Matriculation Center is its culture. You can enter this programme alone and leave it with a huge horizon of friendship being made. HMC encouraged unity and group works, its student council also captured this with many ongoing activities that keep the students united and active. No doubt, HMC has been the best learning base and stepping stone towards adulthood and a higher level of learning. With the terrific quality of subjects within the course, lecturers, teaching materials and activities available, HMC has indeed assisted me in my tertiary studies and my future career. I would like to say that with modules consisting presentations, assignments, tests and exams, HMC can be considered as a modern-type of education. Various type of soft skills can be achieved from these assessments and take it from me, they really served me well."
Tee Khai Sim University of East London Bachelor of Arts (Business Studies) (Hons) First Class Honours (2012) Foundation in Arts (2008) | | "Thanks to the excellent lectures, staff members and teaching culture in the Foundation in Arts course, I was provided with a solid and stable stepping stone to my future education and further on, to my career. One thing I really like about the course is the compulsory Leadership Camp that all foundation students have to go through. We were taught about teamwork, discipline and leadership; this gave me and my peers the confidence to tackle whatever challenges may come our way. All in all, I would personally recommend the foundation course to others as it is a good base to future accomplishments." | | "Overall, I truly enjoyed my time with HMC. I am positive that HELP gave me a very solid foundation, especially with the number of presentations we were required to give. That has drastically improved my presentation skills and increased my confidence in communicating with an audience. In my opinion, the soft skills training I received at HMC was the most valuable education I took away." Christopher Woo University of Melbourne Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) Foundation in Arts (2006)
| | " My time studying in the HELP Foundation programme was both enjoyable and beneficial. I was able to study a variety of subjects in a relatively short period of time. I liked that the structure of the programme meant that students were assessed in several different ways over the semester, rather than relying on exams for grades. This allowed me to take on extracurricular responsibilites as part of the Student Council while studying. To me, the best part of the HELP Foundation programme is that it provides a holistic education for students of all learning styles and capabilties." Onn Su Yong University of New South Wales Pursuing Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) Foundation in Science | | " My experience studying in the foundation program at HELP was terrific! I like how we got to learn a little about a variety of courses which helped narrow what our interest are and prepared us for the real thing. I got to know so many different people and the classes were informative. I have fond memories of the long hallway where everyone greets each other with such joy!"

The helpful and professional lecturers have made the learning process much more interesting. Complicated numbers and equations seemed easily solvable under their guidance which helped me grasped the fundamentals quickly. To add to that, they even provided me guidance after I graduated from here. HELP definitely has a team of very dedicated lecturers."

Before deciding to study psychology, the preliminary courses in HMC helped me determine that psychology was what I really wanted to do. It is a good place to begin the journey of exploration. Aside from that, the HMC leadership programs really helped to develop my sense of identity and understanding of what a leader is. HMC has provided a really good foundation for my studies in psychology."
