HELP is an international college. It has a large foreign student population numbering more than 1500, drawn from more than 70 countries like Indonesia, China, the Republic of Maldives, Mauritius, Finland, Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, Denmark, France, Tanzania, Kazakstan, Nepal,  and India, reflecting the prestige and recognition that HELP has gained in the international arena. The presence of these students contributes to a rich and fascinating cultural mix on campus, and helps foster an open and global frame of mind among the home students.
