Unique Pastoral Care: Each A-Level student at HELP is assigned to a mentor, usually a lecturer, who serves to monitor and guide the student on academic performance and also advise on application for university admission. A team of counsellors from the Center of Psychology also provides a range of mental health and leadership programs and personal counselling services for A-Level students at HELP.
ECA for Personal & Leadership Development: In order to cultivate leadership and organisational skills, students participate in many extra-curricular activities such as the A-Levels Student Council, A-Levels Annual Ball, A-Levels Badminton Tournament, and charity projects. Field trips are also organised to attend public lectures, court trials, research institutes and other places to enable students to gain an insight into career and working environments.
Each year, the A-Level students have a tradition of staging an English drama production which receives popular reviews from the media and the public. This production provides a platform for A-Level students to exhibit their talents and also cultivate their interest in the arts as part of their holistic development.
