The BA (Hons) Business Studies operates in a modularised degree structure within a two semester teaching year. This involves fourteen weeks teaching, one week for students’ own revision, and one week for assessment (examination). Modules of study are classified as core and option. Modules are further classified as being Level 1, 2 or 3, equating to the standard expected on a full-time degree at each respective year. In each Level or academic year of study, six modules are taken, normally three in each semester. Subjects are assessed at the end of the semester in which they take place. To complete a three years honours degree, you would have to complete a total of 18 modules.
The choice of options will be subject to any prerequisite requirements specified by that module, and availability to any timetable or class number limitations.
